Celebrating Christmas with Purpose (25th December 2024 Sermon)

We celebrate Christmas after a careful four-week preparation, reflecting on the Patriarchs’ hope for the coming King, the Prophets’ prophecies about the birth of the Savior, the preparation of the way by John the Baptist, and Mother Mary who bore and presented Jesus to the world. Christmas is a festival of love and peace. God’s incarnation is a full and perfect revelation of God Himself in the birth of Jesus. Christmas is a festival of right and good relationships. Jesus was born into this world to restore the broken relationship between man and God, and between man and man. Is Christ Jesus present in all our Christmas celebrations today?
