The Christian Home: A Reflection of God’s Kingdom (7th September 2025 Sermon)

God created the world and saw that it was good. He has placed the Christian home within the larger family called the Kingdom of God. The world was given to human beings to work and take care of it, because they are only custodians, not the owners. That is why at the end of their lives, they leave everything behind and go empty-handed. The Lord Jesus’s ministry was to embrace all the families of the earth into this greater family: the Kingdom of God. It is therefore vital that Christian homes embody the values and qualities of the Kingdom of God.
