Hope Springs Up in Child, Woman and Man
Today's Sermon is from Mark 10:2-16Lord Jesus taught his disciples and followers that in order to enter the Kingdom of God, they had to become like children. There are at least three reasons for Jesus to make this teaching. Firstly, a child has a pure and clean heart; secondly, a child has a simple heart; and thirdly, a child has a most genuine heart. Jesus would have realized that adults’ hearts are very hard, and He emphasized that they had to be changed into innocent, simple, and pure hearts. Children are a gift to us, and they always teach us life lessons. As we celebrate Children’s Sunday, let us ask God Almighty to soften our hearts to become people of God’s kingdom.
