Celebrating God’s Faithfulness: 171 Years of Proclaiming His Love
Today's Sermon is from Mark 6:1-13As we celebrate our church anniversary, we need to reflect on and thank God for His faithfulness to us over the past 171 years. As people of God, we must remember that the Church is sent to proclaim the Good News. What is important here is that we come before God to listen to Him regarding what is to be proclaimed. Today, as we proclaim the Love of God in society, we need to be conscious of the challenges that we may encounter. God does not expect perfection from us, but we need to recognize the grace of God in our weaknesses as we continue to share God’s love, because God’s power is made perfect in our weaknesses. The Church is called to be an instrument of God’s love.
