The Cross: Where Sinners Become Saints (14th September 2025 Sermon)

The Lord Jesus came to this world to save sinners who repent of their sins. Usually, people do not like to associate with those who are labelled as “BAD PEOPLE.” The main reason may be that they are afraid they will also be called bad, or that they might be negatively influenced. A frequent complaint from the Pharisees and Scribes was that Jesus went to sinners and ate with them. The fact is that Jesus accepted the people who were labelled as sinners, but not their sinful activities. Jesus ultimately had to pay the price for His saving act on the Cross. Salvation is from the Cross, and the people of the Cross are the people of salvation.
