The Fire That Purifies (17th August 2025 Sermon)

This is one of the most difficult passages in the Bible to understand correctly, and it is often misinterpreted by heresies that distort the words of the Lord Jesus. The challenge in this text lies in its statement that Jesus came into the world to bring fire. It also declares that He came not to bring peace, but division.

So how can Christians still call Jesus the Prince of Peace?
