Choosing the Better Part: Learning from Martha and Mary (20th July 2025 Sermon)

Lord Jesus calls us to choose the best amidst the many choices in the material world. In the biblical text, there’s a clash between two choices. Martha represents those who are busy with many worldly things, whereas only one thing is truly needed and important. Mary, on the other hand, represents those who seek the Lord’s feet, choosing to sit by Him and listen to what Jesus is saying. If you desire comfort and satisfaction amidst the various cares and concerns of this world, seek the feet of Jesus and learn from Him.
