Following Jesus: A Call to Total Commitment in a Crucial Time (29th June 2025 Sermon)

The missionaries who came to Sri Lanka with a great passion to serve God had a total commitment. We must thoroughly re-evaluate our calling and mission in the present context. Jesus demanded this same total commitment from the three men who approached Him with a desire to follow. Although Jesus’s three responses differed, they shared a single focus: a call for each man to make a total commitment. We must decide wisely on how we engage in the mission today because the time is very crucial.
