Planting Seeds of Happiness in the New Year (1st January 2025 Sermon)

We all like to enter this New Year with a renewed sense of life: new feelings, new attitudes, new hopes, new promises, and covenants. Though most of us prepare well outwardly, our inner preparation is also vital. The Book of Ecclesiastes 3 speaks about a TIME for everything, and specifically in verse 2, it talks about planting and uprooting things from our lives. If we plant good seeds at the beginning of this new year, we can reap a good harvest, but if we plant bad seeds, we can only reap a bad harvest. Therefore, time is a God-given opportunity, and let us use it wisely to make ourselves happy and also to make others happy.
